DSLR for beginners … To make counseling and models?
Hello everyone, hoping someone can give me some advice. I want to buy a DSLR. Until now I've had a compact digital camera. This makes the job for basic things like taking picture of me and friends on a night or something. However, I have with the delay and frustrated crappy zoom. I travel to Canada in August and want to get a proper camera, so I can get pictures without molested! 
I've never owned an SLR before, but I know I want a. But as a beginner I do not want to spend too much money. Anybody ideas for what would be me? Thanks
Start with a Nikon D40 or Canon XS if you can find the Canon, they are on clearance at some Wal Marts for $ 299. Get with the kit lens. Although Image stabilization is not on them and they are made of plastic, the optics are better than a point and shoot. Spend some time taking them everywhere and you carry it around the neck. Many people quickly tire of the volume and weight and are not always images that are more than disappointed to point and shoot camera. Not that the DSLR images badly are, only that the P / S images are just as good. In this case, the buyer should never have bought a DSLR, because the quality of a good P / S signal will be as good as the DSLR a good shot, without the cost, volume and weight. If worse comes to worse, you can sell, the Nikon or Canon and get a reasonable price used for them because they hold their value well. If you are using a DSLR, you can get multiple lenses and better if a post if you still continue to decide to go.
